Maths Teacher - Secondary School (East Grinstead)

Are you a passionate and skilled Maths teacher looking for a new challenge? I'm currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join one of our excellent secondary schools in East Grinstead. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and help them develop a love for mathematics in a supportive and well-resourced school environment.

Position Details:

  • Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex
  • Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term, or Permanent
  • Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible

Your Role as a Maths Teacher:
As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and problem-solving skills.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with the department and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Support students with varying abilities and ensure inclusivity within your classroom.
  • Take an active role in the school community and participate in extracurricular activities or events.

What We're Looking For:
We're keen to hear from candidates who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have a strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths.
  • Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Have experience teaching Maths to Key Stages 3 and 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is advantageous but not essential).
