Position Details for a RE Teacher:
- Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex
- Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term, or Permanent
- Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
Your Role as an RE Teacher:As an RE Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons on religious studies, philosophy, and ethics to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Foster an inclusive classroom where diverse perspectives and critical thinking are encouraged.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a rich and thought-provoking RE curriculum.
- Encourage students to engage with global issues and ethical debates, promoting tolerance and understanding.
- Contribute to the school community through participation in extracurricular activities or events.
What We're Looking For:We'd love to hear from candidates who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Have a strong knowledge of Religious Studies and a passion for teaching the subject.
- Are skilled in classroom management and capable of inspiring students of varying abilities.
- Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Have experience teaching RE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is a bonus).
