Science Teacher - Secondary School (East Grinstead)

I'm currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join one of our fantastic secondary schools in East Grinstead. This is an exciting opportunity to share your love for science, ignite curiosity, and foster critical thinking in a supportive and innovative learning environment.

Position Details:

  • Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex
  • Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term, or Permanent

Your Role as a Science Teacher:
As a Science Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in inspiring students by:

  • Delivering engaging and interactive lessons in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Encouraging curiosity and a passion for scientific discovery among your students.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them excel.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop a forward-thinking and engaging science curriculum.
  • Supporting students of all abilities, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility in your teaching.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities and contributing to the wider school community.

What We're Looking For:
We're eager to hear from candidates who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have a strong subject knowledge in Science and the ability to teach across Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
  • Are confident in engaging and inspiring students of varying abilities.
  • Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Have experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is a bonus but not essential).
