Supply Desk are currently recruiting on the behalf of a Secondary School in East Grinstead who are looking to recruit a Science Teacher for an immediate start. You will be teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school.

The role:

The Position based in East Grinstead, full time on long term contract. The right candidate plays a key role in inspiring students through engaging lessons. They follow the UK national curriculum, adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By nurturing curiosity, they prepare students for academic success and future careers in Science

The ideal candidate will:

• Strong knowledge of Science
• Relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS Desirable)
• Experience delivering the UK national curriculum
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to engage students of varying abilities
  • Current valid DBS (On the update Service) or the willingness to obtain one
  • Creative teaching approach, encouraging hands-on learning
