A Day in the Life of a CPN:

Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse working within a specialist Drug & Alcohol Team. You'll support individuals in recovery by offering expert assessment, care coordination, and therapeutic interventions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering comprehensive assessments and risk evaluations

  • Developing and reviewing individual care plans in collaboration with service users

  • Supporting substitute prescribing and recovery-focused interventions

  • Working closely with recovery workers and multi-agency teams

  • Participating in safeguarding procedures and clinical reviews

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with service requirements

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Current and valid NMC registration and PIN

  • Experience working in drug & alcohol/substance misuse services

  • Strong communication and clinical assessment skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care

  • Possibility for some hybrid working

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The contract is 3 months ongoing with a strong potential for extension depending on service needs.
