Academics is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a fantastic SEN school in East Grinstead. This role is perfect for a compassionate and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
  • You will be assigned to support up to three children in either a 1:1 or 2:1 setting, ensuring personalised learning and care.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and adapting materials to meet students' needs.
  • Support students' emotional and social development, helping them to build confidence and independence.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential).
  • A caring, patient, and resilient approach to supporting students with complex needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (the school is not easily accessible by public transport).
