This is a safe and inviting primary and secondary specialist day school that supports approximately 85 learners. Children in attendance have complex needs that include SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and medical needs. This school truly believes that one size does not fit all and as a result there approach to learning and teaching is to focus on the individual needs of each student. As a learning support assistant in this school, you would be part of a collaborative team committed to helping every child achieve their full potential for now and the future. As well as a superb mission statement, strong values, and positive change this school also boasts incredible facilities. These include a Fully equipped Science Laboratory, Digital media studio, catering classroom, break-out spaces, multi-use games area, and forest school.

This role is needed on a full-time permanent basis, Monday-Friday 08:30-4:30. This is a term-time only position.

  • Relevant SEN experience
  • Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
  • Supporting learners with SEMH on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
