Job title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Contract: Full time. Monday-Friday. 9am-4pm. ASAP start. Long-term contract, likely to be extended until July 2025 and further.
Location: near East Grinstead, West Sussex

This is the perfect role for someone with experience as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant looking for a temp to perm role with genuine career progression in the future. Training specific to the school setting will be provided during the term.
What you'll do as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special needs
- Implement tailored learning plans and adapted teaching materials
- Foster and nurturing, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
- Monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and parents
What you need to be a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility and creativity to adapting to student needs
- Experience with special educational needs (desirable, not essential)
Information on the Special Needs Teaching Assistant role:
Location- near East Grinstead, West Sussex
Pay- £85 per day. This is equivalent to £425 per week
Hours- 9am-4pm Monday-Friday. Full-time ideally, part-time negotiable.
Contract- ASAP-December. Contract likely to be extended. Temp to perm opportunities may become available.
Year- Key Stages 1-4 (Years 1-11, ages 5-16)
Qualifications- GCSE Maths and English Grade C or Level 5 and above.
