Hey there! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with communication difficulties associated with Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism? We’re looking for an SEN Teacher to join a vibrant school in the lovely location in Smallfield, Surrey. This role is full-time and offers a dynamic working environment where you can truly make an impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing and delivering a curriculum that caters to the educational, physical, and social needs of students.
  • Collaborating with a dynamic team to enhance educational outcomes.
  • Planning and executing lessons with clear, personalised targets to optimise student learning.
  • Regularly assessing and reporting on student progress to various stakeholders.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development to keep your skills sharp and effective.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds a PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification. UQTs or Tutors are also welcome to apply.
  • Has experience in a primary teaching role, with specialisms highly regarded.
  • Ideally has experience working in alternative provisions or PRUs.
  • Understands the needs of students with ASD, SEMH, and PDA profiles.
  • Is knowledgeable about Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
  • Can effectively manage a range of behavioural approaches, including challenging behaviours.
  • Must be a driver due to the location and potential need to travel between sites.
