Manpower are currently recruiting for a Mechanic in North Killingholme.

Your role

  • You will inspect service and MOT the terminal van and car fleet.
  • You will be required to undertake any repairs required to company owned vehicles and occasional minor repairs to the hired van fleet.
  • Use of internal and external bespoke IT programs to log repairs and order required parts as and when required.


Your profile

  • It is important that you have a good work ethic
  • You ideally will be a time served apprentice with a minimum NVQ level 3 in vehicle mechanics or equivalent.
  • You will have previous experience of light commercial vehicle repair techniques and MOT preparation, including servicing and repairs.
  • It is essential you have a pro-active approach towards problem solving, workload and time management with good knowledge of Health and Safety
  • You will have experience in using the latest diagnostic tools used for cars and vans.
  • You will hold a full clean driving licence
  • You will have good interpersonal and communication skills as well as proficiency with bespoke and Microsoft systems
  • You must be a self-motivated individual
  • Good time-keeping is essential
  • Ability to prioritise workload whilst working to tight timescales in accordance with company policies
  • You must be able to work within a team.
  • A flexible approach to work is necessary as you will be expected to cover when required
  • Must be willing to undertake any duties that may arise to contribute to the day-to-day running of the line equipment workshop
