Account Development / Account Management

33,000 - 35,000 per annum (50k OTE)

Location: Chelmsford

Account Developer needed to join a growing business in Chelmsford, who design and supply electro-mechanical equipment.

This is a unique and exciting role for a passionate and driven salesperson, you will join a team who constantly hit and achieve their targets.

This is a sales role with a difference, there is no cold calling. Working from inbound calls and emails, existing clients and referrals - converting these enquires into estimates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Converting customer enquiries into sales
  • Proactively engaging with customer base, identifying account needs and upsell / cross selling where appropriate
  • Meet / exceed targets / revenue
  • Maintain data within the CRM system
  • Gain an understanding of the development and delivery of focused business plans to meet targets and business objectives
  • To offer technical and process support to the Group Sales Manager
  • After relevant training, joint responsibility with the rest of the Business Development Team for closing all opportunities with the correct details e.g. Won, Lost, in discussion etc.
  • Assistance with accurate creation of ticket on all orders on CRM system
  • Ensure all orders are complete and have relevant sales paperwork attached, CRM is up to date and accurate.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • We are looking for a seasoned sales executive, who can hold solid conversations with customers.
  • This is not an outbound high volume sales role, although this may have been a part of your work history
  • You will be articulate, driven with the ability to undertake multiple tasks at any one time
  • Inspire trust to customers, creating positive relationships clients
  • You will have good written communications skills
  • Ability to create proposals and estimates
  • Due to the location of the business, you must be a driver
