Get Golfing, a charity with a purpose to improve lives through golf, a mission to make its courses and clubhouses accessible to all, and a vision for its sites to be central to the communities it serves, is seeking a Clubhouse Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a thriving and dynamic organisation which manages and operates 13sites with 7,000 members and over 160,000 visitors each year. The successful candidate will be part of a £20m revenue company of 600 people which reinvests profits from its operations into its venues, courses, the development of its people, and importantly, community oriented charitable initiatives local to its sites.

Get Golfing's sites are far more than clubhouses and courses, with versatile event spaces that can accommodate up to 300 guests, ideal for hosting a variety of events and functions i.e. weddings, conferences, banquets, business meetings, social gatherings, and casual dining F&B. We say that our courses are for golfers while our clubhouses are for everyone.

To support their goals and drive revenue growth, Get Golfing are now seeking a Clubhouse Manager for the iconic Hampton Court Golf Club to oversee the day-to-day food, beverage and event operations within the clubhouse.

This pivotal role will manage the kitchen, restaurant, bar, and function spaces, ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional customer service. The Clubhouse Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will work closely with the venue sales manager to drive event sales and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all clubhouse food and beverage operations, including the kitchen, restaurant, bar, and event spaces.
  • Lead the head chef, kitchen brigade, and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Collaborate with the venue sales manager to deliver successful events, functions, and weddings.
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and costs to ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and maintain high operational standards.
  • Demonstrate strong financial management, including understanding sales, margins, and labour costs.

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • 3-5 years in a similar role (clubhouse or catering general manager).
  • Strong financial and operational management skills.
  • Experience supporting sales teams to secure events and functions.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience leading front-of-house teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of budgeting, sales, and cost management.
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Passion for the role and excited about working in a prestigious golf club environment.
