Financial Reporting Accountant - Bournemouth - Up to £60,000 + Excellent Benefits

Venture Recruitment Partners are looking to speak with talented and ambitious Qualified Accountants (ACA/ACCA) to join a rapidly growing and highly successful business, as a Financial Reporting Accountant.

This is an exciting time to join a business that has tripled their turnover globally in the last 12 months, having consolidated their market share and reputation with blue-chip clients.
It's a perfect opportunity for those looking at a 1st move from Accountancy Practice. You will work closely with a highly experienced Finance Director who has a proven track record of supporting candidates from this background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production of the monthly management accounts and finance review deck.
  • Support month-end close activities including posting/reviewing journals and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Production of the statutory accounts within the agreed deadline and acting as a key liaison with the external auditors.
  • Supporting the business functions with data, reports and analysis.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and implement effective controls.
  • Providing support during the annual budget process and periodic forecasts.
  • Support the wider finance team with the finance transformation plans which include new accounting & reporting applications.
  • Provide, obtain or research technical accounting advice as required.
  • Support reporting of corporation tax.
  • Additional ad-hoc activities as required.
