Are you an expert in tax law and regulations with experience working for private clients in an accountancy practice? My client, who offers an exceptional benefits package, is looking for a Tax Accountant with strong analytic skills to join its team in Eastbourne.

Duties for the Tax Accountant include:

  • Preparing Tax Returns - Ensuring that clients’ tax returns are filed on time
  • Tax Planning - Providing advice on how to minimise tax liabilities through strategic planning and the use of allowable deductions and credits
  • Compliance - Ensuring that clients comply with all tax laws and regulations to avoid penalties and fines
  • Consultation - Offering guidance on tax issues that may arise from various financial decisions
  • Research - Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and how these changes affect their clients.

Experience required for the Tax Accountant include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Time served experience
  • Knowledge of IRIS or CHC accounting software
  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified preferred but if you’re part-qualified, my client will support you in gaining industry qualifications.
