Role Overview:

As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality tax services, and supporting the growth of the tax team. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high standard of tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients, exceeding expectations.
  • Prepare tax returns in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage deliverables within set timeframes and budgets.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and statutory obligations.
  • Represent the firm professionally to clients and stakeholders.
  • Uphold the firm’s vision and values, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or part-qualified with significant relevant experience).
  • Strong background in tax with at least 3-5 years of experience, preferably within an accountancy practice.
  • Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
  • Professional and confident demeanour.
