- Role: Skilled Groundworker
- Location: Eastbourne
- Contract type: Temporary (Full Time)
- Start date: ASAP
- Pay rate: 23-24 an hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Excavation, levelling, and preparation of ground surfaces for construction projects.
- Laying foundations, drains, and underground utilities.
- Installing and maintaining kerbs, paving, and other outdoor structures.
- Operating groundworks machinery (e.g., mini diggers, dumper trucks) when necessary.
- Assisting with site setup, including preparing and clearing sites for construction.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards on all projects.
- Collaborating with other trades and teams to ensure smooth project progression.
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order.
- Carrying out general groundworks duties as directed by the site manager or supervisor.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Groundworker or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of groundworks techniques and materials.
- Experience with operating relevant machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- CSCS card (preferred) and other relevant certifications.
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
- Fit for work Medical (prefered)
