  About the Role:

As a Residential Support Worker (RSW), you’ll play a crucial role in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young people. You’ll work closely with them to develop life skills, build resilience, and promote emotional well-being while ensuring their safety, care, and development.

  Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-Day Care & Support:

    • Provide emotional and practical support to children in a residential setting.
    • Promote independent living skills, education, and personal development.
    • Encourage and facilitate positive social activities and experiences.
  • Safeguarding & Well-being:

    • Ensure the safety and welfare of young people at all times.
    • Implement care plans and positive behaviour support strategies.
    • Work in line with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
  • Teamwork & Development:

    • Work collaboratively with colleagues, social workers, and external agencies.
    • Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and career progression.
    • Support the home’s ethos of providing a nurturing and child-focused environment.
  Essential Requirements:

✔ Full UK Driving Licence (essential for transporting young people)
✔ Experience working with children in a care, support, or educational setting
✔ A genuine passion for helping young people thrive
