The Opportunity:

In this role, you'll be guiding a class of inquisitive Year 1 pupils through their crucial first stages of education. Your focus will be on delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and encourage each child's natural love for learning. You will also play an important role in helping them develop key social and academic skills that will set the foundation for their future success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver innovative, hands-on lessons that capture the imagination of young learners.
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels confident and encouraged.
• Monitor student progress closely, identifying areas where extra support or challenge is needed.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure the best possible learning experience for all pupils.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed and involved in their child's development.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience working with Key Stage 1 pupils, particularly in Year 1, is beneficial.
• A creative and adaptable approach to teaching, with a genuine passion for fostering young minds.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards teamwork.
