Sonic Summary

A Heating Engineer is needed for a well-established Renewable Energy company focusing on Heating and Plumbing, Solar PV, Solar Thermal, and Heat Pump technology.
The role involves supervising a team and managing both commercial and residential projects across the South East, particularly in the Renewables sector.
The position offers a salary range of £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, along with benefits such as 20 days holiday, personal medical insurance, and ongoing career development.
Candidates should have previous experience as a Lead Engineer or Supervisor, ideally with a background in Renewable, Gas, or Oil systems, and must possess a good understanding of heating and hot water systems.
Qualifications desired include Gas NVQ Level 3, Unvented Qualification, and experience with Solar PV and ASHP, with a full UK Driving Licence required.

Heating Engineer required for our client, a well-established Renewable Energy company covering works across Heating and Plumbing, Solar PV, Solar Thermal and Heat Pump technology. They are now looking for an experienced Installation Engineer to join their team.

Covering a mixture of commercial and residential projects, such as new build developments and retrofit installations, within the Renewables industry, including Solar PV and ASHP across the South East.

Heating Engineer Position Overview

Supervise and lead a team of engineers
Complete works with current regulations
Ensure installations are completed on time
Work well within a team
Heat Pump installations, completed to industry standards
Technical Surveys
Planning & costing
Liaise with suppliers
Plumbing and Heating installations

Heating Engineer Position Requirements

Gas NVQ Level 3 (desirable)
Qualifications in low temp heating/heat pumps (desirable)
Unvented Qualification
Solar PV and ASHP experience
Full UK Driving Licence
Previous experience as a Lead Engineer / Supervisor
Experienced Heating Engineer, ideally from Renewable, Gas or Oil background.
A good understanding of working with pressurised systems and open vented systems, along with an understanding of zoning on different types of systems. (essential)
A good knowledge of heating and hot water will be required.
Knowledge/experience of renewable energy systems: Biomass, Heat Pumps, Solar, General heating systems, Under floor heating
