Are you ready to take your career to the next level? My client is seeking a skilled and dynamic Manufacturing Planner to join its team as a Production Scheduler! This pivotal role involves ensuring the timely delivery of products to meet customer and business needs in the most cost-effective manner possible.

Day-to-day responsibilities of the Production Scheduler are:

  • Manage all shop floor manufacturing planning, including physical inventory counts, KanBan adjustments, quoting lead times for sales, and monitoring project orders.
  • Coordinate with purchasing teams to address material and expedite requirements.
  • Contribute to lead-time reduction initiatives and improvement projects.
  • Implement LEAN manufacturing principles to boost efficiency, production volume, and quality standards.
  • Perform product and process analysis for cost reduction and quality enhancement.
  • Lead Value Stream meetings to drive operational excellence.

Skills and Abilities required for the Production SScheduler include:

  • Exceptional planning, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proven manufacturing experience is essential.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Minimum of Engineering HNC qualification, preferably with a mechanical bias.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment under tight deadlines, with proficiency in project management tools.

You will be familiar with MRP/ERP systems, have an understanding of pump applications and manufacturing processes, as well as knowledge of accredited quality or purchasing systems, expertise in supply chain excellence, planning, quoting, and demand management and proficiency in Lean Six Sigma principles.
