Part Time Assistant Clinical Support

Hours: 7hrs/week, hours can be agreed as long as between 8 am -5 pm , Mon – Thursday

Salary: £12.25 per hour

Location: East Sussex Wheelchair Services, Eastbourne, BN23 6QF

Role will include support in the management of clinician's case load, to ensure referrals move efficiently through the required pathway. The role is founded by Access to Work based on granted request for support to a staff member.

Responsibilities:

  • Timely Scanning & Uploading of Documents onto clients' records.
  • Taking paediatric related calls and directing this information appropriately to alleviate the load on clinician. 
  • Monitoring of paediatric tasks on the system
  • Weekly checking of all clinical note entries by clinician.
  • Monthly paediatric meeting with clinicians to go through caseload as a whole, to identify any areas of concern and any support required by the clinical support.
  • Weekly to do list to be prepared for clinician to keep focus.
  • Written work support, handover documents, letters to clients, documentation for meetings
  • Ensuring clinicians schedule is managed, allowing sufficient admin time for notes and task actioning/ order placing etc.
  • Any Ad-hoc /additional tasks required by the clinician.

  • Teamwork: Collaborative approach to working with various teams and departments.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to handle a dynamic work environment and changing priorities.
