We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Supply Primary Teacher to join our team, ready to step in and provide high-quality education across various primary school settings in and around Eastbourne. This role requires someone who thrives in dynamic environments, is comfortable managing a variety of subjects and year groups, and can confidently maintain the continuity of learning when regular teachers are unavailable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lesson Delivery: Step into primary classrooms at short notice and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support ongoing learning.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Work across various schools, adapting to different classrooms, curriculums, and student needs.
- Classroom Management: Ensure a safe and productive classroom environment, encouraging positive behaviours and maintaining focus on learning.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with school staff to support continuity in student learning and to address any specific needs of the class or individual students.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in a primary classroom setting.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to different schools as needed.
- A positive, enthusiastic approach and a commitment to nurturing student learning.
