Minibus Driver

We are looking for a minibus driver to join our teams at Ingham House and at Manor Hall. You will be required to work 30 hours per week, including some occasional weekend work.
Necessary Requirements:
Must have D1 Category (minibus) on UK licence.
Clean driving licence which will be validated by DVLA upon successful appointment.
Key Duties:
To drive the minibus, undertake all required vehicle checks, and maintain accurate transport records.
To ensure the minibus is clean and tidy, reporting maintenance faults promptly.
To provide support with events and well-bring activities.
To play an active part in supporting people to live the good life in independence by promoting dignity, independence, choice, and fulfilment within a policy of managed risk.
To work flexibly, with occasional out of hours working to support resident transportation.
The Minibus Drivers responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
To drive the minibus, with a friendly, kind, and respectful approach to residents and colleagues
To ensure minibus is maintained, cleaned after use, and washed regularly.
To be empathetic and courteous to residents and their relatives, always treating them with care and consideration and referring any incidents directly to management as appropriate.
To work in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and related College regulations; understanding the health and safety policy and ensuring that care is taken to protect the health, safety and welfare of residents, staff, and visitors.
Working with others
Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the service.
Be polite and respectful in any communication with staff, service users or external visitors
