HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our client's educational facility based in Eastbourne. The successful candidate would be required to answer telephone calls, professionally welcome guests and students and complete visitation sheets.

General Duties:

  • Welcome and assist all visitors, parents, students, and staff with a professional and friendly demeanour.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and mail, directing them to the appropriate departments as needed.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
  • Handle student attendance and access records while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Support administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing school calendars.
  • Assist with school events and communications as required.

Requirements:

  • A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience working in a school/educational facility (preferred not required)
