Role Overview:
- Position: Learning Support Assistant
- Location: Eastbourne

- Key Stages: EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) & KS1 (Key Stage 1)
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting
- A passion for supporting young children in their learning and development
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and other support staff
- A proactive approach to supporting children's educational, social, and emotional needs
- An understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and best practices for early years education
Contract Details
- Location - Eastbourne
- Position - Teaching Assistant/Learning Support assistant

- Contract or position start date - ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
- Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temp to Perm
- Full time/part time - Full and part time positions available
- Minimum rate of pay - 13.96 per hour
- Hours - 8:30 - 16.00
Experience, Training and Qualifications
- GCSE's or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year working with children
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Eligibility
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
