About the Role: We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic primary school in Eastbourne. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting the educational and emotional development of children, especially those with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide essential support to students, helping to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. Your duties will include:
- Assisting in the delivery of lessons and activities tailored to individual learning styles.
- Supporting children with their social and emotional well-being.
- Implementing personalized learning strategies and monitoring student progress.
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and adapt learning resources.
Qualifications and Skills: The ideal candidate will have:
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a related field.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- A proactive and nurturing approach to supporting children's learning and development.
