This setting in Eastbourne, caters for pupils between the ages of 4 to 19 with a range of SEN such as speech, language and communication difficulties, autism, learning difficulties, physical difficulties and SEMH.

Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher:
- Provide a safe, nurturing classroom and school environment that helps students to develop as learners.
- Consistently plan, resource and deliver lessons that allow stimulating and enjoyable learning.
- Supervison of teaching assistants within the classroom.
- Use regular assessments to monitor progress and set targets and determine appropriate intervention.
- Manage behaviour, mark work and, talk to parents and, carers about their children's progress
- With specialist teaching services, medical staff, counsellors and, psychologists.
Requirements of an SEN Teacher:
- Must have a QTS.
- Experience within SEN.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and, colleagues.
- Adaptable and positive approach.
