HRGO Recruitment are currently seeking a Temporary Design Technology Technician to support our client's technology department for a local Comprehensive school in Eastbourne.

The role holder will provide high-quality learning experiences for our students. With various tasks related to food lessons, preparing materials, cleaning and storing materials, cutting up paper for art, sorting out paints for art, and other related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing materials and setting up equipment for food lessons in the Design Technology department

- Support teachers and students in the classroom by providing necessary materials and tools for various projects

- Clean and store materials and equipment after each lesson or project

- Cut up paper for art projects and assist in sorting out paints for art classes

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the Design Technology department

- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and materials

- Assist with any other duties as assigned by the Design Technology department

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of food preparation and handling procedures is preferred

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with teachers and students

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
