A well-respected practice with three offices in Hampshire is seeking an Audit Semi-Senior or Senior. Part of a growing top 40 accountancy practice, the firm provides expert solutions for entrepreneurial businesses and private individuals.

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audits as part of a team
  • Prepare accounts using IRIS software
  • Clear reviews and finalise accounts, including checking disclosures in Limited Company Accounts
  • Prepare Corporation Tax computations, including capital allowances
  • Conduct statutory work for clients
  • Attend training courses as directed
  • Pursue day-release study towards ACCA/ACA qualification
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required

Ideal Candidate:

  • AAT/ACCA/ACA part-qualified or qualified
  • Minimum of 2 years' UK Audit practice experience
  • Previous accounts production experience is essential
  • Xero, Sage, and IRIS experience advantageous
  • Fluent in English with proven communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Excel
  • Good team player with the ability to lead and train junior staff
  • Professional attitude and presentation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with staff and clients
  • Ability to adhere to budgets and promptly address issues
  • Organised with excellent timekeeping
  • Driving license essential
