Venture Recruitment are pleased to be partnered with a local business in their search for a Financial Controller to manage the finance team and run all back-office operations of the business. This individual needs to be able to work in the outskirts of Chandler's Ford, 5 days a week. Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the team, 5 at present, ensuring all accounts are completed to clients SLA’s, payroll deadlines are hit etc
- Ensure the team are upskilled to cover holidays and absences
- Help the team on completion of board packs, yearend accounts
- Working with the clients’ accountants to produce year-end accounts
- Facilities management of the office
- Run 13-week cashflows for all clients and responsible for the banking of the clients
- Attend clients’ meetings when required
Skills & Experience:Â
- Hard-working and driven personality
- Qualified, studying or QBE - ACCA/ACA
- A background in professional practice or within a recruitment business is preferred but non-essential.
- Ability to offer a personalised and high-quality serviceÂ
- Ability to commute to the offices 5 days a weekÂ
