Finance Assistant

Location: Eastleigh (Outskirts)
Salary: to 27,000pa depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Due to expansion, our client, an award-winning leader in their industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking company that values individuals and has a supportive and friendly work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to queries.
  • Prepare, load, and dispatch sales invoices.
  • Process credit card payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Maintain and update email contact lists and product price lists.
  • Ensure proper matching of courier shipments.
  • Proactively manage debt chasing and payment collection.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 2 AAT qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sage accounting software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience within a similar role.
