Wild Recruitment are looking for a finance assistant / bookeeper to join our reputable client based in Eastleigh with experience within the financial services sector.
Duties as a finance assistant
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data integrity.
- Support month-end closing processes by preparing necessary documentation.
- Respond to inquiries from staff and clients regarding financial matters.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Credit control and accounts payable.
Experience
- Previous experience as a finance assistant or any payroll / accounting background
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, as well as identifying tasks to help with.
