Senior Technical and Design Manager- Facilities Management - Eastleigh - £65,000 plus excellent benefits.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the UK at one of their prestigious clients' sites based in Eastleigh who are experiencing significant growth. An outstanding opportunity to become part of truly first-rate facilities.

Location: Eastleigh

Salary: £65,000 plus excellent benefits

Hours of work: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate collation and compilation of design documentation.
  • Ensuring client design objectives are met whilst employing value engineering factors as to create project saving initiatives.
  • Take the leading role on technical solutioning and guidance on project deliverables to support Project Managers & Site Managers when required.
  • Manage the end-to-end process in the development of accurate & comprehensive design drawing packages from initial design through to As Fitted drawings.
  • Develop design solutions in adherence to regulatory compliance and best practice methodologies.
  • On 'live' projects undertake with the operational team onsite reviews to ensure quality standards and adherence to design are being met.
  • Review 3rd party design and cost submissions for accuracy and adherence to client specification.
  • Assist the head of department in the development and implementation of innovation and technology into the account.

The successful candidate:

  • Experience in CDM Projects in construction and building services
  • Experience in complexed and technically challenging environments
  • Previous management capacity in a multi skilled work environment.
  • Analytical skills and Numeracy skills
  • Commercial awareness and good organisational skills
  • Excellent Communication skills either through virtual or F2F means
  • Full UK Driving License Essential
  • CSCS card holder
  • Knowledge of telecoms/networks is preferable but not essential
