An opportunity has arisen for an experienced SAP ECC Consultant to join a thriving, international manufacturing organisation on a critical interim project for an initial period of 3 months. You will be offered hybrid working (2-3 days per week in the office) and an opportunity to make a tangible impact on key operations and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will assess, optimise, and enhance the functionality of their existing SAP ECC system, ensuring it meets the demands of the company’s future goals. This role would suit someone who enjoys adding valuing and driving business performance.Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
  • Conducting a comprehensive review of SAP ECC configurations for key processes such as goods out, production orders, and project setups.
  • Identifying and addressing system inefficiencies impacting reporting and operations.
  • Reviewing finance processes, including periodic reporting, capitalised costs, and revenue recognition.
  • Analysing labour costs, material production flows, and warranty provisions.
  • Enhancing management reporting processes, focusing on profitability, P&L, and group compliance.
What you will need:
  • Extensive experience specifically with SAP ECC, with a focus on the Finance (FICO), Materials Management/Logistics (MM) and Project (PS) modules.
  • Experience of working within manufacturing / production environment.
  • Ideally this experience will be within low volume/high value project build orientated environments with Engineering to Order (ETO) exposure.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
