Caretaker

£25,628 - £28,326 + 14% alternate shift allowance

Reed Recruitment (Southampton Branch) are recruiting for a full-time caretaker / School Site Manager for a secondary school in Eastleigh.

The shift pattern will consist of a 3-week rota:

·         Week 1 – Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00

·         Week 2 – Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00

·         Week 3 – Monday to Friday 14:30 – 22:30

Successful candidates will have a background of facilities maintenance, along with knowledge of mandatory Health and Safety processes and procedures. You will work alongside our Senior Site Manager/ Senior Caretaker who will be a key person in supporting and mentoring the team. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Members of the site team will support and work together across all areas as an effective team in support of a range of school activities and projects. It will also include key holder security responsibilities across the whole school with the shift pattern. The ability to work well in a team is essential, as is a good sense of pride in the role.  You will need to be able to offer flexibility and relate well to pupils and adults.
