Job Title: DevOps Engineer Contract Type:Permanent, part time, full time, job share option availableSalary Range: £55,000-£65,000Location: Eastleigh Closing Date for Applications: Friday 1st NovemberDevOps Engineer: Ageas is seeking an experienced and result driven DevOps Engineer to work as a part of a cross-functional team, with hands on experience as DevOps engineer working within the organisation’s software development lifecycle. This role heavily focuses on day-to-day technical DevOps aspects to deliver faster and safer continuous high-quality software to business.Main Responsibilities as DevOps Engineer:Â
- Take ownership of creating and maintaining exiting CI/CD solutions to meet build, test, release and deploy & security requirements.
- Manage and perform application build, package and software release management process to deploy to all environments
- Hands on proven experience in developing standardised, automated build & release processes to support agile delivery methodology.
- Define, create & manage application software code branches to support application branching approach. Experience with source code management system e.g. git is essential.
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors for application support pertaining to DevOps and production deployment.
Skills and experience you need as DevOps Engineer:
- Demonstrable experience (at least 5 years) as a DevOps Engineer. Experience with EIS policy admin system will be highly desirable.
- Proven experience and knowledge with wide range of DevOps toolchain – Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Git / GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Selenium.
- Experience with cloud technologies – Azure e.g. Kubernetes, App Services, Azure Functions etc. and proficiency in managing cloud-based infrastructure.Here are some of the benefits you can enjoy within the DevOps Engineer role based in Eastleigh:
