Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join a team of maintenance staff within a large secondary school based in Eastleigh. This is a permanent, full-time role starting in October!

Located within the heart of Eastleigh, the school is a large secondary school catering to pupils aged 11-16. The pupils' aspirations and dreams for their future are the central focus, and they believe that only through full participation in school life can our pupils become the most incredible person they can be. Pupils can enjoy exceptional teaching, friendly and respectful support alongside some of the best extra-curricular provision the County has to offer.

We are seeking to appoint an excellent, committed and enthusiastic Site Manager for a happy and successful school. Sitting within the site team, this role will be critical in ensuring the estates building fabric is managed and maintained, leading them to the highest possible standard, providing a safe and compliant working environment for pupils, visitors, and colleagues. The expectation is school community satisfaction for service delivery, taking pride in the appearance of our school.

 The shift pattern will consist of a 3-week rota:-  Week 1 – Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00-  Week 2 – Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00-  Week 3 – Monday to Friday 14:30 – 22:30

Successful candidates will have a background of facilities maintenance, along with knowledge of mandatory Health and Safety processes and procedures. You will work alongside the Senior Site Manager who will be a key person in supporting and mentoring the team. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Members of the site team will support and work together across all areas as an effective team in support of a range of school activities and projects. It will also include key holder security responsibilities across the whole school with the shift pattern. The ability to work well in a team is essential, as is a good sense of pride in the role.  You will need to be able to offer flexibility and relate well to pupils and adults.

The salary for this role is currently set at HCC Grade D £25,628 - £28,326 + 14% alternate shift allowance, per annum.
