Venture Recruitment Partners are supporting a growing SME, based on the outskirts of Southampton, in their search for a Credit Controller on a 9-12 month contract basis.

Key Responsibilities include:

Working closely with the the external accounting firm to ensure seamless financial processes.
Review and cross-check invoices, submitted to clients, ensuring accuracy and prompt payment.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers, keeping financial records up-to-date and accurate.
Build and maintain relationships, with both clients and vendors, becoming the go-to person for queries, payment discussions, and financial negotiations.
Chase debt proactively, with confidence on the phone and via email, ensuring timely payments, even across international markets.

Key Skills and Experience include:

Proven experience in credit control, ideally with exposure to international clients.
Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone – you’re confident, persuasive, and personable.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing your time and priorities effectively.

Salary - £25-30,000 p/a
