Employee Relations Advisor (4 week - Short-Term Contract)

We are urgently seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor for a short-term contract. You will manage a caseload including disciplinary actions, grievances, long-term sickness, capability issues, and performance management. This role requires an immediate start, ideally within the next week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage all ER case work, closely supporting managers and often taking a hands-on approach in conducting investigations.
  • Provide expert advice and support on a range of ER issues.
  • Travel across the UK as needed to support high-risk cases, ensuring compliance and resolution.
  • Work autonomously while keeping the hiring manager informed of progress and outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in handling a wide range of Employee Relations cases.
  • Ability to start immediately and commit to the duration of the temporary contract.
  • Strong investigative skills and the ability to support managers directly.
  • Comfortable with UK-wide travel to handle high-risk cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
