The Opportunity

We are working exclusively with a group of privately backed children's nursery homes to recruit for a permanent Regional Employee Relations Advisor

This role is home based and covering the M3 Corridor

This patch will be Surrey , Eastleigh, Basingstoke and Southampton - M3 Corridor

You will manage your own diary with an expectation to be visiting sites 3 - 4 days a week

Salary is c £40,000 + £3,900 car allowance.

A Driving license and car will be essential for this role

Job purpose

You will play a pivotal part on all employee relations matters, from coaching managers through informal inquiries to formal stages, including investigations and panel hearings. You will handle a variety of people-related issues efficiently and effectively, such as contractual matters as well as the full range of HR policies and guidance for the full employee lifecycle.

Experience needed

Appropriate and proven Employee Relations case work management experience, including but not limited to disciplinary processes, grievance, absence management and claims of harassment and bullying and Demonstrable experience in analysing and risk-managing cases, delivering appropriate solutions are essential for this role.

Experience within a regulated environment: LADO safeguarding, or an NHS environment

To be successful in this position you will need a keen eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of employment law and HR practices. Staying updated on developments in employment legislation, case law, and best practices in the UK is essential in this role.
