Financial Reward Analyst

We are seeking to appoint a Financial Reward Analyst to join a skilled Reward team responsible for managing benefits, bonuses, and pay reviews across the organisation. In this role, you will provide essential analytical and administrative support to the Reward Manager, focusing on data manipulation, financial analysis, and benefits management to ensure efficient and effective reward processes.

This position will play a crucial role in supporting upcoming projects, including the annual bonus review, annual pay review, annual leave carryover review, new benefit implementation and monthly benefits administration.

Advanced Excel skills are key, as much of the work involves detailed data analysis and handling multiple data sets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administer the organisation's bonus schemes, including preparing bonus letters for new joiners, managing individual entitlements, pro-rating, and creating payment files for Finance and Payroll.
  • Support the annual pay review process by creating and distributing pay review sheets, collating and analysing pay data, identifying anomalies, and reviewing recommendations for non-standard pay increases.
  • Manage holiday trading requests, supporting the setup of benefits administration for new members and handling general benefit enquiries.
  • Oversee the holiday trading process, from preparing sign-up forms and processing requests to coordinating approvals and creating final files for system upload.
  • Provide technical support for data-driven projects, focusing on financial analysis capabilities to ensure smooth execution of reward-related initiatives.
  • Conduct cost analysis and financial modelling for new and existing benefits.
  • Handle requests from colleagues to join or leave benefit schemes and manage bonus scheme administration, including letters for new joiners.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in a payroll, reward or compensation analytics/ administration position.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Excel, with proficiency in using various formulas for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience in benefits administration, such as pay reviews, bonus reviews, or implementing new benefits is advantageous.
  • Strong numeracy and financial analysis skills are essential to support Reward work over the next few months.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent numeracy skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple spreadsheets and data sets accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, able to clearly summarise information both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with excellent organisational skills.
  • College level or higher level of education with relevant qualification in Payroll or Finance or HR or equivalent experience.
