Are you an experienced Finance Manager seeking a role where you can truly make an impact? We're working with a respected not-for-profit organisation, based in Eastleigh, to find a Finance Manager to join the team. Now, you have the chance to step into a position that blends financial and operational responsibilities, working closely with a supportive team in a fantastic location. If you're looking for a role where your expertise directly influences the success and sustainability of a healthcare service, this could be the perfect fit for you. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing and executing financial strategies, budgeting, and cost control
  • Overseeing daily financial operations like management accounts, cashflow, payroll, investments and tax returns
  • Managing resources across finance, IT, and property to align with organisational goals
  • Acting as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and ensuring compliance with FCA and statutory requirements
  • Preparing statutory accounts and collaborating with external auditors
  • Providing financial data and analysis to support budgeting processes
  • Building and maintaining relationships with financial stakeholders
  • Leading one direct report and contributing to the operational strategy of the business
What you will need:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role
  • To be qualified ( ACCA / ACA / CIMA) or substantial QBE
  • Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of financial functions and operations
  • Excellent leadership skills to manage and develop team members
  • Competence in systems like Xero and advanced Excel skills
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality, take constructive feedback and provide it when necessary
