Reach Forklift Truck Driver Wanted!
Must have valid Reach Forklift Licence or Training Certificate
Temporary to Permanent
Hourly Pay Range: 13 to 13.50 - (depending on experience and valid licence).
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am Start / 40-Hours Per Week.
We have a new Full-time, temporary to permanent opportunity for an experienced and trained Reach Forklift Truck Driver, with warehouse experience and a valid Reach Forklift Licence or training Certificate.
Unloading / loading containers and vehicles. Receipt and put-away of goods. Pick & pack and stock control, using a Reach Forklift Truck and manual handling skills.
The ideal candidate will be well organised, reliable, can communicate effectively, demonstrate knowledge and skill with a Reach Forklift Truck.
Key Activities:
- Completion of end-to-end warehousing activities as the individual role requires.
- Drive a Reach Forklift Truck in a busy warehouse environment.
- Use scanners/IT equipment provided by the company as appropriate to the task.
- Ensure Best Practice models are adopted.
- Ensure all picks are completed and are accurate.
- Safe unloading and loading of vehicles.
- Complete warehouse administration as appropriate.
- Completing all paperwork as instructed and per company policies.
- Counting and confirming inventory.
- Ensure all picks are completed and are accurate.
Essential Requirements:
- Warehouse goods-in and goods-out experience.
- Ability to use warehouse software and inventory tracking systems.
- Driving and forklift licence (Reach truck) essential.
- Physically fit and able to work in a manual warehouse role.
- Eligible to work full-time in the UK.
- Live in the Southampton or surrounding area.
The role is based just outside of Southampton, own transport might be required depending on your home location.
