Gas Safe Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Gas Safe Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. This role involves the installation, servicing, and maintenance of gas systems, appliances, and heating equipment within residential properties. You will be required to ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current legislation and industry standards, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and quality.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for: -

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, heating systems, and pipework (including boilers, cookers, and gas fires).
  • Conduct routine inspections and servicing of gas appliances and systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Diagnose and resolve gas-related faults and technical issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including gas safety certificates, and ensure proper reporting of job progress and results.
  • Provide high-quality customer service by communicating effectively with clients, offering clear advice on repairs, maintenance, and safety.
  • Stay updated on gas regulations and best practices to ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the latest safety standards.
  • Work independently or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety and cleanliness are maintained while on-site.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Valid Gas Safe Register certification
  • ACS qualified including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, & CKR1
  • Proven experience as a Gas Safe Engineer, with a proven track record in installation, maintenance, and repairs.
  • In-depth knowledge of gas regulations and safety standards (e.g., Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998).
  • Proficient in diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and performing maintenance on a variety of gas appliances and heating systems
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with clients and team members.
  • Full driving license (due to the nature of the job requiring travel).

What we offer:

Full-time

Monday- Friday 08:30-18:00

Overtime paid at x1.5 Monday to Friday/Saturday and x2 Sunday & bank holidays

Fully Remote (Please note there will be an expectation for you to attend meetings and events in other locations)
