An opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development Administrator/ Coordinator to join a growing L&D team on a temporary basis, supporting training and development operations within a fast-paced Engineering environment.
This role will be based at the Head Office in Eastleigh, with hybrid working available after initial period of training & familiarisation.
The position would suit a highly organised individual with strong administration, coordination and scheduling experience from a Training or L&D environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer training requirements and support the L&D function to ensure staff are trained and developed in line with business needs.
- Source and organise compliance, core, and domain-specific training, coordinating internal and external providers.
- Maintain a preferred supplier list, liaising with training providers, venues, hotels, and caterers to organise training sessions.
- Issue joining instructions and ensure all training processes are completed for new starters, leavers, transfers, job changes, and probation periods.
- Manage and allocate eLearning requirements, monitoring completion and reporting as required.
- Oversee the L&D department inbox, handling training requests and queries efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with training policies and procedures.
- Work closely with HR and operational teams to ensure smooth training administration.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong administration and scheduling experience in a fast-paced environment ideally within a Training context.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and scheduling training.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with any HR or Learning Management Systems such as HRIS/HRLMS or similar would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of training requirements within construction, engineering, logistics, or similar industries with complex compliance needs.
- Some experience with or a willingness to learn about LGV Driver CPC, CSCS schemes, FORS standards, and site/driver certifications.
