Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist - Eastleigh - Hybrid working4-6 month temporary contract

£12 - £13 per hour depending on experience.

Tate recruitment is proud to say they are hiring a Temporary Store Team Recruiter for a large home improvement retailer.

Job Description:

  • You will source, attract and screen high quality candidates for vacancies within a specific business area, focusing on improving the quality of hire and candidate experience. To create and engage talent pools for future resource requirements.
  • Advertise vacancies across multiple channels and build relationships with local employment, education and charitable organisations to drive attraction
  • Utilise a variety of sourcing channels to find high quality candidates
  • Manage all vacancies and candidates within agreed SLAs to reduce cost and time to offer
  • Build local, specialist knowledge about the area, roles and external market and share insight with the appropriate internal stakeholders
  • Build relationships with UM's, Hiring Managers and store colleagues and visit stores regularly to support and understand business needs
  • Manage and support candidates through the recruitment process delivering a candidate experience that leaves people as B&Q advocates, whether or not they join the business
  • Be an ambassador of the recruitment brand internally, offering best practice advise on how line managers can attract candidates and use approved selection tools
  • Schedule, conduct and document telephone interviews
  • Arrange selection events with local hiring managers (UM, DM, TM, Team Leader, as appropriate) and candidates
  • Provide candidates with feedback and/or offer
  • Ensure audit compliance of recruitment process in line with the recruitment policy
  • Support other recruiters as required through peaks and troughs

About you:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced customer facing environment
  • Capable of working within a highly pressurised and fast paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills preferably with experience via telephone
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
  • Attention to detail- a completer finisher who does what they say they will do
  • Retail knowledge (desirable)
