Well established, multiple office law firm are seeking a full time and permanent Residential Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy team.
You will be providing assistance to the Fee Earners on a mixed caseload of property files including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, shared equity/shared ownership, new homes and part exchange.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting fee earners with property matters.
- Opening Files.
- Dealing with ID/AML procedures and requirements.
- Working directly with clients to ensure a seamless service.
- Drafting contract packs and client care letters.
- Responding to Requisitions raised by the Land Registry.
- Ordering property searches.
- Send title documents to lenders and clients.
Desired skills and experience:
- At least 1 years’ experience as a legal secretary within the Residential Conveyancing Department.
- Excellent speed typing skills. – You will be tested at interview stage.
- IT literate – Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook / Digital Audio software / Case Management.
What they offer:
- Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm. This is full time and office based.
- Salary depending on experience £23,000 to £24,000.
