This is the Leasehold Enfranchisement team who provide expert legal services to clients navigating complex leasehold matters, including lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, and right to manage claims. With extensive experience in leasehold reform law, the team guides clients through intricate legal processes, anticipating potential challenges to ensure smooth and efficient outcomes.

They work with a diverse range of clients, including private leaseholders, residentsā€™ associations, and groups of tenants seeking to extend their leases or collectively purchase their buildingā€™s freehold. The also advise landlords, institutional lenders, and property investors, offering strategic guidance to national and regional housebuilders, developers, landowners, and charities. The team provides tailored legal support to help clients understand their rights and obligations, ensuring compliance with leasehold legislation and achieving the best possible outcomes.

Core duties will include:

As a Paralegal in the Leasehold Enfranchisement team, you will play a key role in supporting a wide range of matters, including lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, and right to manage claims. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Client onboarding and file opening
  • Reviewing leases and preparing legal documents
  • Drafting Land Registry forms and handling requisitions
  • Assisting with freehold project management
  • Serving notices on multiple leaseholders
  • Supporting completions and liaising with clients, landlords, and third parties to ensure a smooth process
