Senior Product Trainer - Southampton and Hampshire Up to 55,000pa + Co vehicle

Our client is a world leader in intelligent electric heating and renewable energy solutions, holding significant global market positions in domestic appliances, cooling, and ventilation are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Trainer to lead the development and delivery of exceptional product training programs.

This role requires a passionate educator with proven expertise in designing and delivering training solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business and its stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Training Budget Management:
  Oversee and manage the training budget to ensure cost efficiency and maximise return on investment.
• World-Class Training Delivery:
  Design and deliver best-in-class training programs to key accounts and a diverse customer base.
• Strategic Training Roadmap:
  Collaborate on the development and execution of the strategic training roadmap across all brands and business functions.
• Content Development:
  Create and design effective product training materials, ensuring all content is relevant, engaging, and of the highest standard.
• Nationwide Training Delivery:
  Travel throughout the UK as required to deliver impactful product training sessions.
• Presentation & Facilitation:
  Develop and deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and individual training sessions tailored to customers, third-party installers, and repair engineers.
• Needs Analysis & Scheduling:
  Conduct training needs analyses by liaising with customers, third-party professionals, and internal teams to design and schedule appropriate training solutions.
• Training Collaboration:
  Mentor and support managers in delivering training programs while maintaining access to high-quality training collateral.
• Performance Monitoring & Feedback:
  Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by monitoring employee performance and customer feedback.
• Trend Analysis & Insights:
  Develop and utilise trend analysis to continually improve training delivery and its effectiveness.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Experience:

• Proven experience as a corporate product trainer, with expertise in delivering training to varied audiences.
• Hands-on experience with effective teaching methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and content creation for LMS platforms.
• Experience developing e-learning materials, webinars, and seminar content.
• Confidence in creating tutorial videos and delivering virtual training.

Skills:

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Leadership and team management capabilities to coordinate workloads and contribute to cross-functional meetings.
• Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.

Qualifications:

• A university degree and a post-graduate qualification in training or CIPD certification. Equivalent qualifications will also be considered.
• A recognised teaching or training qualification.
• A recognised electrical qualification.
• Experience and understanding of electric heating, household appliances, and both electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Familiarity with NICEIC standards and the ability to deliver heat pump training in line with LCL, BPEC, or NICEIC requirements up to Level 3.
