Our client, an established independent firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking a Bookkeeper/Payroll Assistant to join their team in Chandlers Ford.
The role will involve dealing with all aspects of bookkeeping and various monthly, quarterly and annual payrolls for a mixed portfolio of clients. You will also be responsible for auto enrolment and VAT matters, ensuring deadlines are met and resolving any complex issues,
You will ideally have at least 2-3 years bookkeeping and payroll experience either within UK practice or a professional bookkeeping/payroll department.
A good working knowledge of various payroll and bookkeeping software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero would be an advantage, as well as experience of Microsoft Word and Excel, AutoEntry and Dext.
